Choosing the right photographer to document your precious moments is very important. Memories fade and this is how you will go back in time and remember all of those amazing moments. As a newborn, baby, and maternity photographer, I love working with families that are looking for beautiful images to remember such a special time in their lives. My photography style is simple, organic, and timeless just focused on the most important view on an images, which is your baby. I want the focus of your images to be your family, and so I do not use a lot of distracting props. Every newborn session is styled to your colour preferences and I provide all the props needed.
All newborn sessions take place in my studio located in Mount Calvary, SW Marietta. Sessions are booked weekdays starting at 9:00 am. I pre-book newborn sessions based on due dates and the actual session is scheduled when your little one is born. I only accept a limited number of pre-bookings a month to guarantee you a spot in my calendar, so I recommend booking sometime during the second trimester. Because of the unpredictability of when babies are born, I sometimes have last minute openings for newborn sessions. I recommend having the session done when your baby is between 5 and 12 days old. This is typically when they sleep more deeply, and curl into those adorable newborn poses you see in my gallery. Older babies up to the age of 4 weeks can be accommodated if I have any openings in my schedule.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I would highly recommend booking your newborn photography as soon as possible; in your second trimester if possible. I only take on a limited number of baby photos a month and can’t always fit in last minute requests.
WHY SHOULD I BOOK PROFESSIONAL INFANT PHOTOGRAPHY?
These sleepy moments in your child’s life only last for a few months and cellphone photos not going to do the beauty of your baby justice. Booking a professional photographer to capture the first days of your infant’s life ensures that while your baby will grow quickly, you’ll always have memories of this place in time.
WHAT IF MY BABY IS BORN EARLY/LATE?
When you book a newborn photography session, you do not actually book a specific day. I only book a limited number of newborn photo sessions so that I can accommodate whenever your baby is born. All you have to do is let me know as soon as possible after your baby is born, and then we book a date. Most newborn sessions are held during the first two weeks after your baby is born.
WHERE ARE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS DONE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
All newborn photos take place at my studio At this time I do not offer newborn sessions in clients homes. Newborn sessions last about 3 hours (1 hour for mini newborn sessions), but it really depends on your baby. I do not plan multiple sessions in a day to allow a little extra time to make sure we get those perfect images of your new baby.
WHY ARE MY NEWBORN PHOTOS TAKEN IN A STUDIO?
Studio photos make it easy to ensure that proper lighting, heat and props are available to guarantee the best newborn photo session for your family. If you have any heirloom items you wish to include in your shoot, please let me know ahead of time, and bring them with you to our scheduled newborn photography session these heirlooms can be a ring a neckless or probably a image a loved family member.

WHAT IF I WANT BABY PHOTOGRAPHED WITH SIBLINGS?
Yes, we can photograph baby with siblings and/or parents. Once you book your session we will send you a questionnaire it will include this question on there. We like to know in advance that you plan to have baby photographed with you or sibling, this gives us a heads up to how to plan your time accordantly for your session. 15 minutes of the session are focused on capturing your baby with you and/or siblings.

HOW ARE THE COLORS FOR MY NEWBORNS SESSION CHOSEN?
You choose the colors this will also be in the questionnaire we will be sending you, we want you to be able to choose the colors that you prefer for your baby, maybe to go with their nursery room or colors you love the most. If there's any color we might not have we will have plenty of time to order them for you, this is why its important to book in advance. All props and outfits, Headbands and bonnets are provided in the studio, all these are specially made for newborns, the right fit, the right fabrics, the size.

WHEN DO I GET MY GALLERY?
We will schedule you to come back to the studio to reveal your images, choose your files, prints or canvases and/or anything you wish to additionally order. Your reveal will be 2 weeks from your session, in some cases if it is before the two weeks we will let you know and we can reschedule it for an earlier date.
